Outfit Guide

Things to follow:

•Coordinate outfits, do not all wear the exact same thing.

•Switch it up: one person wear a pattern, one a solid, one a texture, flowy,form fitting, different shade jeans.

•Neutral colors!!

• Have the outfits preplanned. If ordered online and are not scheduled to arrive, have a backup outfit.

• Make sure outfits go with the location.

• Ask your photographers opinion!

• If multiple outfits choose a formal and casual.

Things to avoid:

• Wear neons.

• All in the same shade or style of jeans.

• Wait last second for outfits.

• Forget to try on!!

• Forget little things: shoes, accessories, nails halfway painted.

• Forget a backup outfit for littles.

For Newborns:

• Naked

• Bloomers for over diaper

• 1-2 outfits

• Choose a colored wrap from photographer before session date.

For Large Groups:

• Pick 1-2 accent colors that pair well and the rest neutral.

•Get a variety of pant wear. not all in jeans or same shade of jeans.

• Switch it up as listed above.

• Dont have everyone identical (unless that’s what you want)

• Choose a type of scenery you like best! (creek, field, city, barns, etc.)

• Be open to venue fees if you have a specific look in mind.

• Be open to traveling to a different city.

• If you have children be sure to keep safety and curiousity in mind.

(New walkers that are independent in creeks are not the safest option)

• Trust your photographer!!

• If you have a specific outfit chosen be sure to choose a location that pairs well with it.
